For my first blog assignment, I was granted the
pleasure of interviewing the undeniably interesting Saleh Alabbas. Saleh is 21
years old and comes to the United States from Saudi Arabi. He has been in the
U.S. for three years so far. This is his second year at Cedar Crest, and prior
to that, he traveled to many different parts of the United States. Saleh
started his journey studying English in San Diego, then Denver, followed by
Indiana. He finally ended his tour of the U.S. in Allentown, Pennsylvania to
study Business Management here at Cedar Crest College.
Saleh is what I would call a "world traveler." So far
in his young life, he has visited many different places in the world, and has
plans to visit more! On his list of past sojourns is Vancouver and Cancun, as
well as the many places he has been in the United States. One of his favorite
places to visit was Cancun due to the plethora of activities he was able to
enjoy, such as SCUBA diving, beach cruises and jet ski rides, just to name a few. His other
favorite place to vacation was Vancouver. He enjoyed Vancouver for the
picturesque hiking tours, and because it is an international city with many
diverse people from all over the world. He still has a few vacations left on
his agenda, such as a trip to the Bahamas that he is currently planning, as
well as his dream trip to Paris.
Saleh is working on his degree in Business
Management here at Cedar Crest, and plans to graduate in two years. Once he
graduates, he will go back to his homestead in Saudi Arabia to work in his
father's business which is an electric/oil company. I am very impressed with
Saleh and all he has done at such a young age, and I wish him all the best in
his future endeavors!

Very interesting article, seems like Saleh likes to travel a lot! And has his goals in order to one day graduating with his degree in Buisness Management and then go back to his home town. Wish him all the best!!
